Funky Fresh Alphabet!

Have you seen the Funky Fresh Alphabet? It is a hand-drawn lettering collection for your personalization needs. The 26-English letters were drafted and then digitized. The letters have a certain desirable quirk to them, making them funky and fresh.

Letters

Each letter stitches independently and does not connect to its neighbor. This makes it easy to arrange the letters as foregrounds in blocks, staggered along a border, or stitched in different colors. The ideas are endless.

The letters also retail individually for $4/each. Letters shown in the red fabric below are 3″ tall.

Texture & Color

Add texture and focus to your alphabet by adding the couching foot and chenille yarn.

You may also choose to create the letters with raw-edge applique.

1. Layer a contrasting print of fabric, prepped with lightweight fusible on the back, over your quilt.
2. Stitch out the letters.
3. Cut away excess fabric beyond the letter.
4. Pro-Tip: Add the couching foot and chenille yarn to couch the letters by stitching a second time, directly on the previous sewn line.
5. Press the fabric when the quilt is finished to secure the letters.
