ProStitcher.com offers several wholecloth quilt projects, including the Midas Wholecloth. We partnered with a few quilters around the internet to show you the many different ways this quilt can look incredible. Joanna Marsh, Kustom Kwilts
Joanna decided to apply amazing free-motion quilting mixed in with the digital Midas Wholecloth design. She mixed bright colored threads, our Midas Wholecloth sponsor, Superior Threads.

Joanna’s quilting, with the bold thread really gives some next-level wow to this finished wholecloth.
Thread is so important in quilting.
The thread really is the star here as Joanna matched all her bobbins to her needle thread. There’s definitely discussion on how important it is to match top and bobbin, but in this case, with a solid white quilt back, Joanna created a reversible stunner.
We were honored to have Aimee quilt the Midas Wholecloth design, not once but TWICE. In Aimee’s first project, she quilted metallic colored thread on a black background. The pictures do not do this justice.
We think the amazing threads from sponsor, Superior Threads, triggered some metallic creativity.
In Aimee’s second project she has mixed flat black threads with gold metallic and to keep it really unbelievable, she added shimmery fabric paints!

That’s right, she quilted sections of the Midas Wholecloth and then added paint, while the quilt was still on the longarm!
Notice how sections of the design, quilted in black, simply fall to the background. The gold thread is pretty amazing.
Choosing the color placement was simply genius. Once complete, Aimee also added beading to certain element of the design. Great quilts, Aimee!
If you feel like you may need a drop-dead gorgeous emerald quilt, look no further than Teresa Silva’s Midas Wholecloth.
Teresa’s design quilts the digital design, then adds a large, complimenting free-motion feather border around the center medallion.
It is a monochromatic masterpiece.
This large quilt looks regal and luxurious and even better in person!
Thank you so much for your lovely quilt showcase, Teresa!
