While testing this design, we opted to stitch it on a perfectly coordinated quilt top, (free) Village Quilt Pattern by Moda Fabrics and Miss Rosie’s Quilt Co. Though, we didn’t follow the pattern directions exactly, we still managed a fun house quilt made from 5″ squares and quilted fun homes onto it.

The design stitches quickly and, while it does have nesting shapes, it does not backtrack stitch on itself.
