  • The zipped file contains 91 files for 67 segments of the whole design, instructions for use, and a layout map of designs. This product does NOT include the fabric panel. The design for the leaves follow the veins in the panel. All designs are about ¼” apart from each other for easy placement. The designs can be enlarged to fit in the segments for a more filled in look. A few petal designs are divided into different sections. This will help when using different threads on the same petal. Designs may highlight the direction of veins in the petals. Stitched sample completed by Jane Prestidge. DIGITAL PRODUCT: Choose the file extension compatible with your computerized longarm system to purchase. Quiltable's friend, Adam Sew Fun, made a video using this design collection. Check it out.
  • The Midas Wholecloth Project is a digital quilting design that includes all the elements to create a wall-hanging quilt in one single file. Caution: This is one digital file. Instructions for stitching this single design are included with the purchase. The wholecloth is designed to stitch 40" x 40" and can be scaled larger or smaller. • This is an advanced design and requires the quilter to align each row of designs. Default Size: 30" x 30" Instructions are included.

Here are some helpful tips for success with stitching large designs:

    • Stabilize your fabric with basting stitches every 3-4 inches, both horizontally and vertically, before beginning to stitch the design. The better you control your fabric the better your results will be!  Don't forget your side clamps.
    • Remove basting stitches as you go, right before stitching a section of the design.
    • If you choose to resize the design, select the entire design and resize as a whole. Don't try to resize in sections.
    • Stitch in rows and carefully advance through the design. Check alignment with each advance before stitching.
    • Add micro-quilting as desired for dramatic texture!
