Linda Gosselin has been piecing quilts since the American Bicentennial back in 1976. In 2002, she pieced a scrappy triple Irish chain quilt and brought it to a longarm quilter at a local quilt shop. After seeing the magic the longarm quilter created, Linda wanted to own a system herself!
She bought her first HQ Sixteen® in 2006, added the Classic Pro-Stitcher® in 2007, and now owns a beautiful HQ Amara® with a Pro-Stitcher Premium and Pro-Stitcher Designer!
Quilting, teaching, designing and digitizing are her passions! She sees quilt designs everywhere – in tile work, nature, furniture, architecture, paper towels, tissue boxes, etc., and asks, “doesn’t everyone?”
Linda loves to “wow” her customers by showing them a digital image of their own quilts on her computer in order to audition quilting designs before they leave her studio.
A Handi Quilter National Educator, Linda teaches classes for both Pro-Stitcher Premium and Designer. She quilts for customers, Quilts of Valor and for charity. Samples of her work can be seen at www.TheQuiltersHelpdesk.com
Linda lives with her husband Phil in central Massachusetts. Along with two daughters and two wonderful sons-in-law, the loves of her life include twin grandsons born on the Fourth of July, and one “little red-haired” granddaughter.
