Edge-to-Edge Quilting Designs for Pro-Stitcher

Edge-to-edge designs (sometimes referred to as an “all-over design”) are designs that are created to stitch from one edge of the quilt, literally, to the other edge of the quilt. The designs often nest within each other so that the finished project has no discernable quilted “rows” visible.

An edge-to-edge design can be as simple or as complex as you’d like, depending on what type of quilt you’re doing! When gifting a quilt, having an edge-to-edge design speak to a recipient’s hobby or something that gives them joy is a wonderful way to add personalization to a quilt!
