Kim first discovered quilts on a trip to Pennsylvania with her grandmother when they visited an Amish quilt shop. During university, she learned how to hand quilt from a friend. After several years of hand quilting, Kim tried machine quilting – but quickly moved from quilting on a domestic machine to a longarm.

Kim now lives in the Burgundy region of France with her husband and two children. She does custom quilting for others as well as gives one-on-one instruction for new machine and Pro-Stitcher owners in Europe (mostly France, Switzerland and Belgium).

Her work can be seen at latelierdulongarm.com
